Some Good News

This weekend Chris Van Dyke responded to my request that – in spite of the end of his company and his cancellation of speaking engagements across the country – he still deliver the keynote address at GAS this June.

For the reasons given in my last post - and more – I truly believe that what Nau tried to do is critical in our world today – maybe even more so in the economic climate we are all living.

I am hugely grateful that he’s agreed to continue the dialogue – with us – at GAS.

    Hi Lani,
I read your blog regularly (and have been delighted by the flurry of activity over the last few days!), but have only written a response a couple of times before.
Even though I didn’t enter into E-merge this year, I was still really touched to read your comments about the pieces that didn’t make it to the final show. It is always painful to be rejected and to know that you care so much about the ‘unsuccessful’ makers is very comforting.
I shall still look forward to seeing the show at the GAS conference, listening to the inspirational keynote speech and seeing you all soon!

    Hi Jackie,

    Thanks for writing.

Watching a company that I idolized go under has put a lot of stuff into perspective for me in the last few days.

I’m so glad you’re coming to GAS – you and all those healthy little pounds (Sterling) you’re bringing over. ;-) Cheers!

    Hi Lani,
After the conference, I’ll be meeting up with my family for a little touring holiday. We’ll be doing our best to ‘spread’ those pounds around!
