The Big Picture: Survey of Kiln-glass | April 28, May 5, May 12, May 19, May 26, June 2 | Saturdays 10am–4pm (June 2, Noon–2pm)
Enjoy six Saturdays in this comprehensive workshop, which introduces the many directions you can take with kiln-glass as an art medium. In some ways, it’s equivalent to taking several classes. As a student, you’ll learn basic kilnforming concepts and work directly with materials, starting with glass cutting and moving on to projects that explore fusing, slumping, painting with glass, kilncasting, coldworking, and firing to various temperatures. Take this course and get a solid foundation for starting to work in your own studio or in our Open Studio sessions. No prerequisites. Learn more

Introduction to Fusing and Slumping | May 1–2 & 4 | Tuesday & Wednesday 6pm–8:30pm / Friday 6pm–7:30pm
Fusing is the heat bonding of glass elements such as sheets, frits and stringers. Slumping is the shaping or bending of glass into or over a mold. Fusing and slumping are fundamental to kilnforming and are gateways to many advanced methods. Try your hand at both techniques in this popular workshop, and take home two finished plates. No prerequisites. Learn more

First Glass Fusing Class | April 11 | April 18 | May 23 | Wednesday 6pm-8:30pm
We’re offering three separate sessions of this 2.5-hour class, which is recommended for beginners. Come learn fundamental kiln-glass concepts and make a fused and slumped plate. No experience with glass is required. Click on the dates above to learn more about individual sessions.
