Bullseye Resource Center Portland now offers single session classes for children. "Portraits in Glass", an exploration of self-portraiture, is offered on certain Saturdays in October and November 2013. Project examples from "Portraits in Glass" a class for children at Bullseye Glass Resource Center Portland. Safety first! You can never be too careful to protect your vision. We offer child-sized spectacles. These in the picture are not those. Favorite new skill: bending glass stringer in a candle flame. The glass always seems greener on the other side of the table. Many artists make it a practice to sketch their ideas before proceeding with the actual project. Kids engage teacher Bonnie Celeste in a discussion about self-portraits, and portraits in general. Look for that awesome T-shirt in the finished projects! Do you know a young artist who would enjoy exposure to a new medium? Learn more about sessions for 6-8 year-olds and for 9-11 year-olds.
