Artists at Work: Narcissus Quagliata

In the summer of 2015, artist Narcissus Quagliata came to Bullseye's Research and Education studio in Portland, Oregon, to create a new work of art in fused glass.

Although universally considered master of this medium, his stated that his goal was "to go further than I have previously. To rival my best work, and then risk it by going further in order to learn more."

Quagliata pursued that goal in a series of visits over the following 15 months. This is the story [insert link] of how he pushed himself, and the work that resulted.
