THE BIG PICTURE: SURVEY OF KILN-GLASS
March 29-April 3 (CL0108-0002) Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm; Saturday, Noon-2pm This workshop will touch on the basics of the many practices that are known as kiln-glass. Through discussions, demonstrations, slideshows and hands on work time, we will cover glass cutting, the effects made possible by differing temperatures, fusing, slumping, Painting With Light, kilncasting and coldworking. After taking this class and becoming familiar with your options, you will be ready to choose a direction in which to further your kiln-glass education. The direction you choose could lead you back to your studio to hone your skills or to one of our more focused workshops. No prerequisites. 10 students $550 |
