These quick kilnforming classes held at Bullseye Resource Centers are a fun and affordable way to experiment with glass fusing techniques. In 2.5 hours, you'll indulge your creative urge while making your own unique artwork. No previous experience necessary.
Block Party: Carving Glass With Heat
Create numbers or letters or other graphic imagery on a luscious slab of glass using a ceramic fiber paper design and the right amount of heat, a technique known as kilncarving.
First Glass Fusing Class
A great way to introduce yourself (or the artist in your life) to the fundamental concepts of creating glass objects in the kiln. Using a wide range of glasses, students make an 8" x 8" fused and slumped plate.
Hip to be Square: Graphic Coasters
Learn the basics of powder printing, a screen printing method that uses glass powder to create images with rich textures and colors on glass—and create a set of coasters your guests will want to steal!
The Necklace Project
Work with a wide palette of sheet glass colors and pre-designed part sheets to make two kilnformed glass pendants. Students receive a brief introduction to the fundamental concepts of fused glass and glass cutting.
