Working with a palette of glass frits, powders, and stringers, you can create custom sheets of art glass to use in fusing projects. These unique kilnformed sheets are called part sheets because they are made to be cut up and incorporated into finished works. Making part sheets is like making your own fabrics for quilting: You are customizing the material for your designs. In this lesson you will learn techniques for making different kinds of part sheets and guidelines for firing them.
