SPECIAL WORKSHOPS SURROUNDING GAS 2008
We are now accepting applications for four exceptional courses that will be held in conjunction with the Glass Art Society conference in Portland in June 2008.
Consider our special pre- and post-conference workshops, which present an unusual opportunity to study key kiln-glass topics in depth with internationally recognized artists. You need not attend the GAS conference to apply for these classes.
WHAT, WHY AND HOW: with Cobi Cockburn and Charles Butcher, June 13–18
Develop an overall methodology for creating your work—from exploring ideas with drawings and models to creating a finished object—and learn kilnforming, kilncasting, flameworking, and coldworking techniques with two of Australia’s most acknowledged young designers. More about this workshop…

Classes will be held in our well-equipped Research & Education studios at the Bullseye factory, where a number of materials and methods fundamental to kiln-glass have been developed over the past 30 years, in collaboration with artists from around the world.
