NEW Schedule of Classes and Special Events

MAY-AUGUST, 2008

We are pleased to present our new schedule of classes and special events. This summer’s program offers students a rich array of introductory classes—especially from the end of July to the end of August—when workshops will focus on everything from the fundamentals of kilnforming to different approaches to kilncasting.

Intermediate and advanced practitioners will also find a number of challenging courses, including Jane Bruce's special two-day seminar, designed to strengthen students’ understanding of the history and conceptual content of glass as an artist’s material. This is a great opportunity to work with Bruce, who lectured in the renowned Glass Workshop at Australian National University for ten years and was Artistic Director at North Lands Creative Glass in Scotland for five years.

Whether you plan to head in a new direction this summer or venture along familiar trails, we look forward to working with you soon.

Classes are held in our well-equipped classroom studios at the Bullseye factory, where materials and methods fundamental to kiln-glass have been developed over the past 30 years, in collaboration with artists from around the world.
