Thinking About Glass
with Jane Bruce
Saturday-Sunday, May 17-18
Explore a more thoughtful, conceptual approach to kilnformed glass in this special two-day seminar. Instructor Jane Bruce, who taught in the Glass Workshop at Australian National University from 1994 to 2004 and was Artistic Director at North Lands Creative Glass from 2002 to 2007, has designed the course to strengthen students’ understanding of the history and conceptual content of glass as an artist’s material. She will help participants to re-imagine the potential of kilnformed glass—in a supportive, informal environment.
