SEE BE at GAS
Soon we’ll be greeting all of you who have registered for the Glass Art Society conference here in Portland, Oregon, June 19-21. We can hardly wait. To help you plan your visit, we’ve produced a brochure. It’s a kind of roadmap to the people, places and parties that we’re most excited about at this year’s conference—and that you might want to include in your action-packed days and nights at GAS Portland.
Click here to download the SEE BE (short for “SEE Bullseye”) brochure. It includes maps and details about:
• Bullseye Glass Co. Factory and Resource Center
Special GAS Discounts; tour opportunities; Friday e-merge 2008 reception; Sunday Open House; hours; directions by free shuttle, car, or public transportation.
• Bullseye Gallery exhibitions, including:
Succession—Representing the 25 years of innovation and collaboration between the Canberra School of Art Glass Workshop and Bullseye.
Presenting—Selected works by GAS lecturers and demonstrators.
Retrospective—Historic and current works by Clifford Rainey.
BE Lab—Exhibition illustrating the many uses for kiln-glass in architecture and design, including past and current projects from the commercial, hospitality, and residential sectors.
• Our technical display at the Hilton
• Pre- and post-conference workshops
• Bullseye picks for GAS, including a timeline for demonstrations, lectures, and panel discussions and information and maps to help you find other exhibitions around town.
If you should forget to pack your downloaded copy of the SEE BE brochure, no worries. You’ll find a freshly printed copy in your GAS registration pack. Look for it!
We wish you safe travels. And we look forward to welcoming you to our fair city, and to Bullseye!
