Kiln Shelf Wash and Mold Wash

Postby Vickie » Tue Feb 19, 2019 3:59 pm

I have been unable to use my kiln for 1 and 1/2 years. I have molds that I had been using that had been primed with Bullseye shelf primer, used maybe 3 times and stored at room temp in their boxes for 1 1/2 yrs. Do I need to prime them again before I start back up? Or are they ok to use?

If the shelf primer is not cracked or chipped, it should be fine! Congratulations on firing up your kiln after it was not operating for so long!
