To hoard, or not to hoard?
We are still tinkering, so no news yet on a new formula. (I know, Lani previously mentioned in her blog that we were pretty close, but she underestimated the rigor of the product development testing protocol. Or she is overly optimistic. Probably both.)
Meanwhile, we have limited stock on hand (in sheet glass) which we (and our dealers) will sell ONLY with this disclaimer:
"Bullseye decided to discontinue the production of Dense White 000313 sheet glass in 2008. We did this partially because the glass can be unstable when subjected to extended heat work. The glass can perform correctly, but firing it above 1500°F/815°C for more than 15 minutes or firing slowly between 1250°F/677°C and 1500°F/815°C may result in an unstable glass."
I hope this helps.
