Dear Doctor Sawfish

I prefer to use primer only as it gives a smooth back to the glass and there is no issue of free floating fibers from the fired paper (pulmonary danger!). I use 4 coats of Bullsweye primer following directions supplied.

Burnishing the shelf with the heel of your hand gives an nice, smooth finish. Wear a mask when you blow or brush off excess. Do it outside if possible.

Good results every time!
