how do you make the fused glass wine glasses?

I have seen wine and martini glasses with fused glass 'stems'. I am wondering how the fused glass stem is attached to the drinking glass part. Where would I find the drinking glass part?

I'm assuming the stems are glued with something like E6000 or a strong UV glue; don't know for sure.

You might check pottery or wood-turning supply places for the glass parts. Here are a couple of sites for stemless wineglass, which might also work. These are very popular now, and you should also be able to find them at places like Target (I think I saw some at JC Penney, too).

Thank You for your reply. Maybe the wine glass stem has to be sawed off. I will check the pottery supply also. Thank You
