Pattern Bar Slab

Postby Dianeinc » Mon Oct 22, 2012 12:25 pm

Hello - I have a square stainless steel mold measuring in inches 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 1. According to my calculations using the slab video I should put 1239.27 grams or 43 ounces of glass. I have cut my glass into 4 x 1 inch strips. My problem - after 22 ounces of glass in two rows the rows already are above the stainless mold by an inch. I have never been great at math:) so should I keep adding more, leave it be or maybe add a third row, which would leave little room in between for the glass to flow.
Thank you - my first pattern slab stuck to the mold because I used thin fire paper oops.
