For discussion of processes related to using Bullseye glass, including kilnforming and kilncasting, torchwork, blowing and stained glass.
We are coating commercial ceramic slumping molds with bullseye shelf primer according to the directions and in the past few months it has begun adhering to the glass (previously for years, it worked fine--same primer, same molds). We are slumping wine bottles--process temp of 1410 for 20 min. hold. Does powdered primer get old and no longer work? Any other ideas as to what the problem might be?
