Decal Disappears upon firing

Postby kbird » Thu Nov 29, 2018 5:27 pm

I am using the Bullseye decal paper for the first time. I printed a decal using a laser printer and followed the instructions on the sheet. The decal I am using is blue (which I have read that some colors are harder to transfer). I am using it on the lid of the large bowl casting mold. Once the decal was applied, I left dry for 24 hours and then spread a thin layer of clear powder over the decal. I have tried a couple firing schedules and each time, the decal disappears completely.

Any help would be appreciated!

Kbird,
Oh no! I would be happy to look into this for you. What kind of printer is your laser printer? Some work better than others. Not all laser printers work with this paper. We’ve had the
best luck with HP and Canon printers, using their brand name cartridges.

Does any of this info give you an idea of what the problem might be?
