I did not do a stellar job with cold-working the edges of a platter. I thought beveling and slumping would smooth imperfections but there are tiny cracks along the edges; the kiln side is perfect. I assume that I need to re-flattened, work the edges and slump again.
I don't know what kiln schedule to use re-flatten it. Should I use the original slumping schedule, or a modified full-fuse program. The piece is 13x5, 3 layers = 3/8" thick, the center has a 5x6 pattern bar inset. The overall shape has a deep curve----I think it was slumped in 17" BE big round mold.
