workshop ventilation

Postby firedimagination » Thu Feb 08, 2018 3:51 am

Hi there,

I have a query about workshop ventilation. My workshop is currently set up in a converted garage, with 2 windows and a external patio door. Im looking to put in some mechanical ventilation system and would like to know how other people have gone about ventilating their workspace / extracting dusts and with what products. I'm UK based. Most systems I come across seem rather industrial for my workshop, or are aimed at wood workshops, which I am not sure are suitable...

Any thoughts, advice, info would be gratefully received!

I work in a basement with window on opposite walls. I run a fan to blow air out one window, and keep the other one cracked open so there is a constant slight draft while I am working.
