Milestone decals

Postby sb.anthony » Thu Mar 24, 2016 11:57 am

Hi, are the color names for these decals just names, or do they contain the substances named in the names? For example, is there copper in the copper colored ones, etc. I am curious whether they have reactive qualities with the glasses that would react with the metals named, also the blue.
Thanks!

We haven't noticed any reactivity with any of the colors, so far!

I am interested in trying out the Milestone metallic decals on white glass. Will firing at the max temp of 1450 degrees cause the glass to melt? I want to use this fired glass in a stained glass piece, so I need it to remain flat.

What kind of glass are you using? 1450°F?
