Physics of glass sticking to kiln

Postby ronald.boutte » Wed Nov 15, 2017 12:23 pm

All,

I am looking for a good description of the physics behind glass adhesion inside a kiln. I am slumpling glass, and it works great with Fuseworks kiln paper, but what is actually going on when soda-lime "float glass" sticks to ceramic or silicon wafers inside the kiln?

Thanks,
Ronnie
