steel blue color change

Can someone advise -- I fused a 10x10 piece of steel blue with clear tekta and color stacks -- I used the same firing schedule as I had done for 5x5 coasters -- the steel blue lost its blue color -- is now a dark steel grey with some blue overtones -- looks burnt
Help please
