

Ultimately, you will teach and develop curriculum in kilnformed glass, while you work with other members of the Research and Education team, students, teachers, and internationally known artists. You will also be responsible for process and product research, fabrication, customer technical support, and all aspects of being part of the team, from grime to glory. You are a well-organized problem solver that pays close attention to detail. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a firm grasp of math. You are wise enough to realize that you don’t know it all and are ready to learn, both from your successes and your failures. You are flexible, willing to work hard, get dirty, and then clean up. Hands-on experience in the arts, especially ceramics, and/or basic scientific/laboratory technique is extremely helpful. Experience w/Mac and PC, Word, Excel and Outlook a plus. Bachelor degree preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Valid Oregon driver’s license a must. Hours: Full-time.
