Quality Control Glass Trimmer

Position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., good eye for color, accurate record-keeping, good attention to detail, flexible with schedule, ability to multi-task, and glass cutting experience and/or quality control experience a plus.

Position requires cutting sheet glass, looking for color variations in the glass, stones, cracks, and/or bubbles. Entering information into the computer, record-keeping, and labeling glass sheets.

Fabricator/Technician (Full-Time)

You are well organized, pay close attention to detail, and take pride in efficiently executing tasks to high standards. You have a strong sense of art and design, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are flexible, willing to work hard, get dirty, and then clean up. You will train on the job with other members of the Bullseye team, students, teachers, and world-class artists as they perform process and materials research. Ultimately you will make finished works in kiln-glass and document your methods and results. Hands-on experience in the arts, trades, and/or basic scientific/laboratory technique is extremely helpful. Experience w/Mac, PC, Word, and Excel a plus. Valid ODL a must.

REGISTRAR

The Bullseye Gallery is looking for a full-time Registrar.  You will catalog artwork for inventory and collection.  Crate and ship artwork to clients and other institutions. Manage the artwork database and gallery website.  Create and send press releases. Maintain the gallery’s digital image library. Photograph artworks for collection and inventory.  Assist with catalog/print production photo shoots, and assist with exhibition design and installation.

 Ideal candidate will have a 4-year college degree, excellent attention to detail, photography skills (a plus), strong computer and writing skills.

BATCHROOM SUPERVISOR

We are looking for a full-time Batchroom Supervisor. The Batchroom Supervisor leads a small team of workers who carefully weigh, measure, and mix together batches of raw material to help create colorful hand-cast glass. This natural leader must enjoy motivating others, keeping track of numbers and details, and working within a well-defined industrial system. Required: college degree + a minimum of 3 years hands-on supervisory experience (or 5+ years equivalent experience); excellent organizational and communication skills; basic computer skills; and the ability to lift 50+ pounds. Preferred: experience in the manufacturing of: commercial glass, ceramics, paint mixing, or baking.  Please include salary history and requirements with resume.

Frit/Material Handler, Swing Shift

This is a unique full-time job opportunity in our QC department helping to assist in our glass crushing Frit area. Warehouse and inventory experience a plus, detail oriented, forklift experience a plus, and legible handwriting a must. Qualified applicants will be required to lift 50 lbs of crushed glass (on a regular basis), and work with minimal supervision.

This is a unique full-time job opportunity running Bullseye’s Rod Production line.  Ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing our glass rod drawing operations, performing quality control functions, kiln repair, trouble shooting, recordkeeping and inventory control.  Production and/or hot glass experience helpful.  Ability to work independently a must, being detail oriented, organized plus legible handwriting a must, and the ability to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis a must.

This position requires a high level of professionalism, including written and verbal communication and computer skills.  Two or more years of strong customer service experience, and a college degree preferred.
