Bay Area Gallery: ACT 2 The Glass Track

A group show featuring kiln-glass by artists who began working in the medium later in their lives, after establishing careers in other fields. The artists met during two recent summer residencies at Pilchuck Glass School, where they created the works in this exhibition. Act 2: The Glass Track originated at the Museum of Northwest Art in La Conner, Washington, and was co-curated by Kathleen Moles, Steve Klein and Richard Parrish. The show was curated for touring by Lloyd Herman, Director Emeritus of the Renwick Gallery, Smithsonian American Art Museum.
