2015 Explore Workshop Dates and Instructors Announced

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—Bullseye Glass Co. has announced dates and instructors for 2015 its popular Explore series of intensive workshops in Santa Fe. An Explore New York workshop has also been added. 

Explore workshops combine the many pleasures of these arts-rich cities with the chance for beginning to advanced kilnworkers to deepen their artistic practice and enrich their glass fusing skills. Also a great opportunity for artists working primarily in other media.

Explore Santa Fe 2015 Featured Instructors

July 14-18: Nathan Sandberg

August 25-29: Alicia Lomné

October 20-24: Michael Rogers

Students spend part of each day immersed in Santa Fe's splendid natural areas and built environments. The remainder of each day is spent in the kilnforming studio at Bullseye Resource Center Santa Fe working directly with artists at the forefront of kilnforming.

Explore New York workshop added

May 1-7: Explore New York: The Urban Experience, with Jane Bruce and Susan Cox. A fast-paced and inspiring exploration of New York City—the grand spaces, intimate places, and vibrant cultural mix of this great American city— led by artist/instructors who are passionate about both New York City and glass.

All Bullseye Explore packages include:

  • Lodging, plus breakfast and lunch each day
  • All glass and tools needed for studio work
  • Field trips to powerful landscapes and other sites
  • Guided development of your practice as an artist InsInsider tips on area shops, galleries, and attractions many visitors miss

Enrollment is limited to 8-10 students per workshop.
