Resource Center New York Opening Fall 2013
Bullseye Glass Company, a Portland, Oregon-based manufacturer of glass for art and architecture, has announced plans to open its latest Resource Center in Mamaroneck, NY.
"After touring Brooklyn, Queens, lots of Westchester, and southern Connecticut, we fell in love with Mamaroneck," says Bullseye co-owner Lani McGregor.
Bullseye currently has Resource Centers in Portland (adjacent to its factory), Santa Fe, NM, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Bullseye Glass Resource Center New York will be the company's first Resource Center on the East Coast, and is scheduled to open in Fall 2013.
Bullseye Glass Resource Centers are a direct connection to the Bullseye factory in Portland, providing a place to experience the manufacturer's complete line of glass, tools, and supplies. They also act as showrooms for finished work—everything from art to functional objects—that inspires and informs users about the wide range of methods available for working with kiln-glass. Finally, Resource Centers provide training for artists and makers learn about glass fusing, or for experienced kilnformers seeking to add new skills.
