Well, Susan’s last (& first) blog about the weather got such a response that I just had to post this (as we wait for our other Guest Editors to come out of hibernation):

Thanks to Tamara at Killer Designs in Anchorage!

The hugeness of the moose makes the gates look doll house size. Beautiful picture and gorgeous gates.

I’m curious about the actual size of the gates too. The image didn’t come with dimensions. Tamara?
Kiln-glass in outdoor spaces is one of the most frequent questions we hear. If this picture doesn’t say “durable”, I’m not sure what does!

Hi All ~
Let’s see…the side walk is 4 ft wide plus the posts so I Think each glass panel is about 22″ X 36″. I can’t remember off the top of my head ~ I’d have to go home & measure. I love the double opening gate which opens into our front yard garden & a curving sidewalk.
Makes it very inviting for moose & people
I’ve done quite a bit of glass for outdoor areas; fence panels, gates, garden screens, etc. It’s extremely durable & I’ve never had a panel crack or break! BULLSEYE’s the BEST!

I bet your annealing’s not too shabby either!

here’s pictures of my front courtyard gate with Bullseye glass in it. It is in the full Arizona sun on a steel door, so takes temps from the upper 120s

Hmmm. Is this the birth of a Garden Gate Glass competition?
