The gum image transfer is a method used by artist Carrie Iverson to print imagery onto sheet glass using glass powders and principles from lithography. In this lesson you will learn how to follow Iverson’s method by choosing and preparing an image, setting up a printing station, transferring the image onto glass, and firing the piece. You will also consider some variations on the basic technique.
