Material Data Safety Sheets for Bullseye glass

Postby tjw » Sat Feb 13, 2021 9:04 pm

I'm experimenting the laser etching glass in my Glowforge, and realizing that before I do too much of this, I should ask about MDS data for Bullseye glass. I know a while ago there were issues with Bullseye needing better formulas/environmental filtering on its output, so I'm reminded that I should check on this before vaporizing too much glass.

Specifically, I'm currently testing etching patterns that remove the iridescent coating on one of the black sheet glasses.

Thanks!

Oops, attachment of the etch in progress didn't come through, so here is the piece after the full run and just before hoping into the kiln with a clear cap
