Appears a medium blue hue with variegated streaks of lighter and darker blue. Underside of sheet can show patches of light and dark patterning from the forming process.

000434, Fired Tile

Matures to pastel purple upon firing, often with mottles and streaks remaining. Additionally, this style often fires with blue and pink hues and is not uniform in color. Underside of sheet can show patches of light and dark patterning from the forming process.

Interface reaction possible with sulfur glasses, particularly 000137 French Vanilla Opal.

Three production dates of lead bearing 000434-0030 horizontally as a base with sulfur bearing 000137 French Vanilla Frit in 03, 02, 01, 08 as vertical stripes on top surface showing the reactive potential. Sample was fired to a full fuse.
