Product Use & Safety

Bullseye Glass is committed to providing the information you need to work safely and effectively with the products we sell.

Materials used in the manufacturing process are inert once encapsulated in glass and when fired at normal fusing temperatures.

A more immediate safety concern in the kiln-glass studio is airborne glass powder. Make sure your studio is well ventilated and that you wear a NIOSH-approved respirator. If you work with glass powder, we recommend including a HEPA-filtered vacuum in your studio equipment.

The following links provide more information on safety, potential hazards, and ways to minimize risks.
