Base: Non reactive clear(001100)
Reactions show as darker outlines and interface between layers
Part of a series that includes Reactive Cloud Opal (000009) and Red Reactive Clear (001019). Reactive Ice Clear is designed to react with copper-bearing styles and also reacts with silver. Reactive combinations have the potential to create an interface color, which may continue to develop through multiple firings. When combined with some copper-bearing styles Reactive Ice creates an interface color that can range from dark red to black. When combined with silver the reactions are more likely to develop as earth tones.
Reactions are generally related to the amount of copper and/or silver within the components, heatwork, and surface area contact between the reactive components.
Bullseye Compatible.
